The gear manufacturing process explained

The process starts with a pre-machined metal bar.

Hobbing or shaping ensures pre shape and form accuracy.

Heat treatment is applied to increase hardness and refine microstructure to design standards.

Grinding finalises the process ensuring final  accuracy and specifications are achieved.

Roughed to the exact accuracy specifications your gear requires, and within a DIN range of 7-9.
